Welcome back, its been a beautiful Easter spring is in the air and summer is on the way. In celebration Oxford is about to embark on a marathon of House, Breaks & Electro nights and FOTB is no exception;

J3 on stage 01:00 - 02:00

FOTB's offering this month comes in the form of local Oxfordian James Walton aka J3. James will be playing an hour long set of exclusive tracks written entirley by himself (featuring OB on vocals). James has already had a lot of record lables sniffing around but as yet no deal has been signed. James idealy wants to take his music out on the road in a similar ethos to that of the Bays; what you hear is what you get, no records or CDs just live. Something tells me we are for a bit of a treat!

JHz DJ set - 02:00 - 03:00

Also on tonights bill is JHz otherwise know as James Cocozza. Two James's whats going on. JHz has released records on Tagstar, TCR (Rennie Pilgrims record label) and Bochit & Scarper so he already has quite a CV. So far this years he has palyed all over Europe and now finally after moving to Oxford last year JHz touches down in the Cellar for his FOTB debut and about time to!!

Howeman DJ Set - 10:00 - 11:00

Lastly but defiantely not least we have the honour of presenting David Howe better known as "Howeman"! Howe has been a regular at FOTB ever since our birth over two years ago and it is supporters such as Howe who have made FOTB possible so now its Howe's turn. He will be on the tables that turn (or CDs) from 10:00 til 11:00.

First Contact & Soundz will also be on the line up so thats 5 DJs and a live act all crammed into 6 hrs!

Here s a quick interview I did with J3;

What or who are your major influences?

Liam howlett and many many Anonymous white labels (You know who you are! Naughty naughty people!)

Who writes all your tracks?

Synth programming, drum programming, playing etc are all done by me. I do also have my handy Man Olly Bichard who is kinda fly with his guitars and the "DISTORT" pedal

Do you write songs with any one else?

Olly and me have worked on lots of stuff together recently, we work well he writes and sings, I sit there and drink coffee! its most definately a match made in heaven

But seriously I do the annoying producer bit and edit, cut up and destroy all the good he produces!

What is the best tune ever?

California dreaming - Mammas and the pappa's (I am not joking)

Do you have any surprise tunes install for the FOTB crowd?

A horrible remix of a horribly low tune.

What’s your favourite sandwich filling?

Bread flavoured coffee

What are your plans for the future?

To conquer Kazakhstan... i am currently in deep military talks with several of their leading camels. SOD the music business sell other peoples sisters.

FOTB!
