with TOM MIDDLETON (COSMOS)

Lee Mortimer. Emily Williams. Neil Simpson. James Weston

Slide and Simple join forces once again on Good Friday, this time at The Zodiac, with the fantastic Tom Middleton as special guest. Everyone is off work on the Friday, so there are absolutely no excuses for a no-show! See you all down the front!

British DJ/remixer/producer Tom Middleton became involved in electronic music way back in 1989 after a meeting with Richard D. James, better known as Aphex Twin, in Cornwall. He has never looked back. Working under a host of different monikers, including Schizophrenia, Reload, Global Communication, The Jedi Knights and Cosmos, Tom has become one of the most respected and in-demand DJs and producers around.

With a string of club hits under his Cosmos guise, including "Summer in Space” & “Take Me With You”; countless compilations, including “A Jedi's Night Out”, “The Sound of the Cosmos”, an instalment in the Fabric Live series and two from the series “The Trip”; and a gig plan taking him as far a field as Japan, Australia and India, this is not to be missed!

SLIDE LIVE MIXES!!!

Go to http://slideuk.com/ to stream a wide range of mixes recorded LIVE at Slide events over the last couple of years.

There are sets from Matt Braddock, Lee Mortimer, Neil Simpson, Emily Williams, James Weston, First Contact, Romano Farrocco...

Crowd noise aplenty - very authentic!

He didn't do it much last time he played a couple of years ago but I will encourage him to this time!

What sort of thing are we talking about here Abster? "Here's one for all you lovers out there?" "Anyone see Corrie last night?" "Do you think the middle east will ever truly be at peace?"

kind of hey its tom middleton here, a bit more chit chat and this song is etc etc, its fine but when your really enjoying a tune and then someone chats over it ( i dont mean like MC) just chat its a bit annoying!! esp cause he plays really good tunes in my opinion!!

Apparently its not a reason to be off work!!

Oh it certainly is a reason Sam! If you've not heard the musical talents of Tom Middleton before he is someone not to be missed! I am sure he will have plenty of treats in store for us :)

He is a bit special, was playing the CDJ like a guitar last time. Plays across the board as well, like a Chinese Dim Sum, there is a little bit of everything.

*Ignore that, it sounds like a quote from the Judge
