CHART TOPPING DUO SET TO ROCK COUNTY TOWN

In an announcement that will delight the music fans of Pembrokeshire, Germany’s top dance music duo, Cosmic Gate, will be jetting in for an exclusive show at Haverfordwest nightclub, Matisse, on Good Friday, 21st March.

Famed for their smash hit, Firewire, which took the charts by storm in 2002, Cosmic Gate continue to set dance floors alight with their powerful and uplifting Trance records. DJs as well as producers, their highly acclaimed stage shows have rocked nightclubs across the globe, and the pair currently sits at number 38 on the influential ‘DJ List’, which ranks the top DJs in the world.

Cosmic Gate have been booked to headline the re-launch of The Evolution Experience, a dance music event which dominated the Welsh club scene in the first half of the decade with a series of high profile, carnival-style shows, which were featured on BBC Radio One, and in numerous national magazines.

Said promoter, Thomas Sinclair, “After experimenting with events in London and Asia over the last few years, the whole Evolution Experience team felt that the time was right to return to where it all started. We are delighted to have secured not only the best nightclub in west Wales, but two of the world’s leading DJs to headline the show.”

Alongside Cosmic Gate, The Evolution Experience will feature the cream of Welsh DJ talent, including the well-known Danny Slade, and the original Evolution Experience residents. In a unique move, the whole Matisse nightclub will be transformed into ‘Oz’ themed extravaganza, to tie in with the event’s ‘no place like home’ theme, and clubbers can expect a host of extras including, dancers, MCs, and performance artists dressed up as the characters from The Wizard of Oz. By coincidence, Cosmic Gate have released a dance remix of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, which event organisers hope will be a high point of the night. Tickets are priced at £12.00 and are available from local outlets and www.ticketweb.co.uk.
