QUICK FIRE Q & A WITH YOUNG PUNX FRONT MAN, HAL RITSON!
1. What's new with you guys at the moment, production wise?
It's an exciting time! We are about 2 thirds of the way through making our second album, Mashpop and Punkstep, which should be released later in the summer. We have to get it all finished in the next few weeks but its coming together nicely!
2. What can punters expect from a Young Punx experience?
A mashed up soundclash between the worlds of a rock gig and a nightclub, with a party flavour! Possibly the only live band where you will hear house, drum and bass, shred metal and the shipping forecast within 10 minutes!
3. Have you played Wales much? Any memories or experiences?
For The Young Punx this is actually our Welsh debut! About bloody time too! I've only played once in Wales before, at my manager's wedding, in a barn surrounded by freezing fog! There was excellent 80s pop value with Howard Jones on keyboards and Nick Beggs from Kajagoogoo on bass!
