One of Pembrokeshires biggest night clubs is due to re-open this weekend following extensive refurbishment.

Matisse Music Venue in Haverfordwest has been closed since the beginning of January to enable works to be completed.

The work included transforming the lower floor into a 70’s and 80’s themed Disco Room and the mainfloor being completely re-designed and the provision of a separate VIP Bar. All floors have had new sound systems installed. This enables Matisse to provide three separate venues under one roof.

All the work has been completed using local tradesmen and suppliers.

Matisse is owned by Circles Entertainment Limited who currently employ over 65 people in their venues across the county including Milford Haven, Tenby & Pembroke.

Managing Director Mark Thomson says “We are going to invest in the local community by refurbishing existing premises, working closely with Dyfed Powys Police to provide high quality, safe entertainment venues and in the current economic climate providing local employment and value for money”
