Fergie Remix of "King Unique - Hinode" on Curfew Records...
Curfew Records On Beatport:

‘Hinode’ is a tribute and farewell to our favourite club, Yellow in Tokyo. We’ve played some great gigs there, six or seven hours in the dark with eight hundred people and one strobe light – perfection. Endless saki in the bar, obligatory stalkers (“93!” and Hedgehog Girl step forward please), smoke and heat on the dance floor; finally emerging deafened and sun blinded into the brilliance of Saturday mid-morning in Tokyo.

Just like the club that inspired it ‘Hinode’ is all about the squirming, twisting techy bass-line and heavy beats – until the sci-fi electronics and space-rock synths start pouring out of the speakers. Backing up the original is an exceptional remix from our favourite techno genius - Fergie. We’ve been playing his ‘Anon’ track ever since Ferg slipped us a demo last year; since then there’s never been any doubt about who was going to remix Hinode.

Gregor Tresher – “I like Fergie’s mix, something for the bigger floors, will def play it out.”

Danny Howells – “Sounds wicked – original and Ferg mix.”

DJ Vibe – “Fergie’s mix is great for me.”

Hernan Cattaneo – “VERY good, both mixes.”

Jody Wisternoff – “Excellent!”

Sander Kleinenberg – “Quality!”

Umek – “Fergie remix is excellent.”

Meat Katie – “Fergie’s mix sounds like Oliver Huntemann…. But that’s a good thing. I’m still playing the last KU single. Nice work!”

Matthew Dekay – “Excellent deep power track of Fergie! Love it…”

Hector Romero – “Ahh yes I totally relate. In November '07 I was fortunate enough to play 1 last time at Yellowbefore it shuts it's doors this coming summer. Now it's Fri March 6th and I'm playing tonight at Air in Tokyo where this tune will be rocked. Well done guys ”

Wally Lopez – “The original is hypnotic, good production to warm up, Fergie remix is on fire!!!”

Anderson Noise – “Fergie remix is very, very good!”

John Digweed "Playing the Fergie mix"

Jimmy Saville - "Very Tasty, Just like those little girls from the local school"

Also don't forget to check out Fergie's Break-In / Break-Out on Excentric Muzik, his mix of Bigger Than Jesus "Itchy Glitchy Spider", and "Ireland" coming soon on Great Stuff's new olympic themed compilation.
