We are delighted to team up with the Ice Factory for the re-opening of this iconic club. Since the club opened over 15 years ago pretty much every big name DJ’s has played the 2 room venue including 2 Many DJ’s, Mylo, John Digweed, Sasha, Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Simian Mobile Disco and Orbital to name a few.
The club closed over 6 months ago but its opening again and Everything Else Sucks have chosen a few of our favourite past guests to join us….

FOAMO
We are such massive fans of this young man that this will be Foamo’s 3rd time at Everything Else Sucks. We first welcomed Foamo aka Kye Gibbon to Aberdeen in 2009, he played such a fitting set for us that we had to welcome him back in October 2010 for our 2nd birthday bash. Kye also treated us to an old skool garage set at the pre-party that night.
He has already established himself as one of the best producers to come out of the UK in recent years. It’s not often that talent comes rising through the ranks fully formed, undiluted, and with as much potential as Foamo has done. Countless comparisons have been made between him and some of the very finest and he's gained the support of DJs including Diplo, Armand Van Helden and Rob da Bank. Not bad for a boy from High Wycombe.
Known not only for the depth and quality of his engineering skills (never mind the huge basslines!) but also as a respected DJ, since we met Kye he has toured America and Australia, play to festival-goers across the globe and earn an exclusive residency at Chew the Fat! in the UK and at Space in Ibiza where last year he played alongside Felix da Housecat, Simian Mobile Disco and Groove Armada.
Kye was raised on a healthy diet of drum & bass, grime and garage, but it was through listening to Kissy Sell Out on Radio One that he was introduced to the more house-orientated sound that gave rise to his bass heavy 4/4 productions.
After the success of his first single 'Moving It Over Here' gained him international exposure, later productions, including some huge La Roux bootlegs, remixes for Diplo & Laidback Luke and Major Lazer, his ridiculously heavy collaboration with Lee Mortimer, as well as his own releases of late ‘Centavo’ and ‘Generate Some Heat’ its no wonder he has been supported by everyone from Annie Mac to DJ Zinc.

HOSTAGE
Edinburgh based Hostage aka Alan Parley was our first ever guest over 3 years ago. Since then Alan has gone on too play the Annie Mac presents tent at Rockness before Boys Noize, headlined the Arcadia Afterburner at Glastonbury and recorded an essential mix for Radio One.
Alan brings his heady mix of rave, electro and house to the bass-hungry masses all over the world and has played parties all over Europe, US, Asia and Australia.

CLOUDS
In the last year, young Calum and Liam aka Cloud have exploded in the dance music world. The two boys from Perth have been gaining support from the likes of Zombie Nation, Annie Mac and Erol Alkan with their own production work, remixes and DJ sets.
Their DJ sets are a high energy mix of the more techno side of electro and when they played for us early in the year they absolutely thumbed Origin and left the kids in a bit of a sweat.
Some of their gigs so far include Muck at Stereo and New Years Eve they played to a packed out Arches in Glasgow. They have also just been announced to play the Sub Club Sound System at this years Rockness.
Their incredible ‘Liquid / Mauful Sir’ EP was the debut release for Fake Blood’s Blood Music label, receiving massive support from all corners. They have also gone on to remixes of Underworld, Dem Slackers, Screendeath and their remix of Proxy ‘8000’ was featuring on Boys Noize’s recent DJ Mag mix CD. They also have a forthcoming EP about to drop on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings.
