A QUICK THANKS AND SOME NEWS.

So AJ's just about made it to a year old. our first birthday party is on the 19th of December. watch this space for info about the night.

As most of you know we started out as a fresh faced underground venue that wasn't really sure what we were about. All we had to survive on was our bare instinct and less than a shoestring budget. It soon became apparrent that this was enough to see us through the hard times. from out of nowhere came people like myself that are in it for the music and the fun not the money. just out of random meeting and conversations came thing like our Neurofunktion DnB Nights courteousy of Mr Bang-e. He brought us names like Predator, Silent Witness, the DnAudio Hardtimes album launch, Break and Phobia. Then another off spring of those gigs became known as Bangingtunes.com we are actully affilliated with website bangingtunes.com. Go there and talk, buy tunes or just see whats going on in the world of music. these guys have created a stir in the Techno and filthy NRG hi octane hardcore circles. Nick B from sundissential, Miss Cheeky Beats, from Killatrax she is currenty resident at Gravity in Blackburn at the moment and has played for both Exposed and Sin:ergy in Manchester so she certainly knows how to rock the party! Tom Urwin (Firefox) and JayMarie tear it up every time. welsh duo Evo D & Maxwell from NuWave. These guys are producing machines and have released some absolute stormers on there label NuWave digital and various others. They are currently playing at some of the countries top hard house events, so we're lucky to have them here also!! we cant forget the bread n butter DJ's the ones that showed such commitment from the start. drive up or down depending where they come from some from Leeds some from Newcastle E.T.C and play for the love of it. of course i'm talking about Nogger, TimC and Nick B plus all those that just turn up n help thanks peeps AJ's is going from strength to strengh because of people like you AJs is for people like you. If you loike ya PSY Trance then myself Rainbow or uncle doo as he's also known are often tearing it up pearing up with who ever wants to give it out on a mad one Big stu does us proud behind the decks and the bar with techno and beer not together you understand. (well actually thinking about it......) DJ Owl wth his techno and Bruno too. Kenny we love you for just turning up and workin and never asking for or expecting a bean. Bish bash bosh ( Webbie the freek) and mell n lou i'm sure i missed some one out but not on purpose.
So what next?
Well our first birthday on the 19th Dec then Crimbo Eve then New years eve. all very very exciting Cieran (Business partner) and I got some seriously mentle fun filled partying till ya drop nights planned as always watch this space of google AJ's Br Peterborough. Vicious Circle (Renegade Hardware, Freak, Critical, DSCI4, UP, DRP, DefCom, Evol Intent) - Well we wanted deep and we wanted big in the game. These boys are South London's finest! Due to blow up big time with the forthcoming LP colab with Universal Project, we are as they say well bloody chuffed to have VC on point in Peterborough on New Year's weekend.

TKO (Breakbeat Kaos, Infrared, Abstract) - As if to prove his undoubted talent and flexibility, Shakka AKA TKO will be stepping up to deliver in true Neuro-Funktion style. Those who think they know TKO's sound best think again - He comes equipped to show us his 'deeper' side. The man comes highly rated by no lesser mortals than Adam F and J Majik. If it wasn't enough that he was guesting, the fact he will join the Neuro-Funktion resident's rota for '09 is BIG!
