Now I can completely understand why there are is a huge rave scene in London, it's obvious, it's the capital. I can also understand why there is a rave scene in Aberdeen, etc. But who lives or has been to Peterborough or any small city like that? It is an ever expanding city with a population that is seems to double every month. But we have no rave scene whatsoever although I know loads of ravers.

The only rave night happens once a month in a small punk rock/ alternative club and to be honest it is shocking. There are many house parties and outdoor parties but raving in a small clearing in Ferry Meadows or near some homeless people, next to a river right near the police station isn't the same.... or safe. This is the same with the house parties, there are only so many times you can rave in a kitchen with a so-so DJ.

Peterborough has a really bad reputation but we are not inbred hicks or uncultured louts. Take for example the Pendragons New Years Party in London. The most extravaggently dressed and elaborate dancers were from Peterborough and there were loads.

Like I said I'm not just talking about Peterborough though, this goes out to all ravers who live in small cities and cannot go raving as much as they want because of the lack of transport to the larger cities.
Get together with your friends and through here and try to come up with some parties of our own. Try and find some decent locations to party.
Let's get all out small towns on the map.

This summer is supposed to be hot... lets try and make sure it is steaming =P
