On Saturday 17th October the Southwest’s Biggest Hardstyle event Premonition, teams up with the UK’s Biggest Hard Dance event Goodgreef Xtra Hard, to bring you the world’s Biggest Hardstyle Act, at Plymouth’s Biggest Dance venue! Quite simply this is the biggest Hardstyle event in the southwest of England in 2009!
Showtek (brothers Walt & Duro) experienced a meteoric rise to frame between 2007-2008, releasing their first artist album ‘Today is Tomorrow’, a 39 track masterpiece that became a rapid worldwide success! The album’s world tour saw Showtek sell out venues across the planet including the massive 6000 capacity Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, the 4000 capacity Hudson Theatre in LA and 5000 capacity areans in Sydney and Melbourne Australia! America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and almost every corner of Europe went Showtek crazy! They fast become planet earth’s ambassadors of Hardstyle! To top off 2008, their tune ‘FTS’ topped 3 million views on youtube making it the most viewed Hard Dance track in history!
2009 has seen no stopping Showtek’s world domination! In February the duo were crowned Best DJ’s at the UK Hard Dance Awards, and for the 2nd year running picked up the award for Best Track! 2 months later the duo made history yet again, becoming the first Hardstyle act to host Radio 1’s prestigious Essential Mix!
Alongside ‘Showtek’, the brothers are also the proud owners of Dutch Master Works, a solid platform for their own releases, and have hinted that others may join them in the future. Dance floor bombs like ‘FTS’ have catapulted the lable towards being the best selling in the hard dance world and was recently awarded in Mix-Mag as ‘The World’s Number One Hardstyle label’
