Dance Academy
Hi me and my friend came across a vid on somebody's my space of the dance academy. Living in folkestone ( kent ) we has never heard of it from the vid it looks fucking amazing!!!!

Was just wondering why it is closed and is it likely to open again??

Hope so as it looks like it is worth a journey!

crapy cheese complex!

I resent that, I think you will find that the music on Friday nights was just as upfront as Dance Academy... Anyway, both clubs have gone now, time to look forward. There are still a lot of great nights playing fantastic music.

Why not keep a healthy balance and go outside of plymouth and experience other nights as well and you'll enjoy going out in Plymouth a lot more

Sorry didnt mean to offend perhaps i should have worded better, i went to the sat nights tbh but i didnt like the atompshere in there at all.

Def time to look forward, i doubt it will reopen the only thing to worry about is those involved in the case whihc my thoughts go out to.

Nights out in Dance Academy will always be a part of alot of people's memories.

I just wish i'd known all of the fantastic people i've met in the past 6 months when Academy was open! The amount of times i must have walked past you lot and not known it.

I was usually off my fucking twat anyway and probably sat with some of you for hours chatting codshit in the small hours and never known it.

I wrote a massive reply on one of the petition threads about Dance Academy and my view on the politics behind the closure but it's just a drop in the ocean i'm afraid. I'm not expecting it to re-open but my god, if by some miracle it ever did, i don't know that it would be the same.

I'm happy going to Warehouse now and i'm finding that it's the company that make my night usually and believe me i've been to some fucking grotty clubs. There's a couple in Bristol where you daren't touch the walls and you wipe your feet on the way out but the friends around me make my night.

Totally agree with your comments, a club is bricks and mortar etc the clubbing scene is people! and imo its the peeps that make the night!
