Music : Funky House, Jackin House, Electro House, Deep House, Progressive House and Tech House

On Saturday May 5th our mischief-making Bootleggers head down to the coast to pick up contraband and create musical mayhem - Bootleg Social is 'on the run' in Plymouth! We will be pulling out all the stops with a fully themed event, celebrating an era famed for illicit indulgence: The Roaring Twenties. Lose yourself in a carefully crafted wonderland of excess as we pay homage to the sexy speakeasies of yesteryear. Fancy dress is welcomed and the best dressed Bootleggers will win 5 VIP tickets to one of the biggest clubs in the UK, the world-wide famous Ministry of Sound in London. Ladies - embrace the spirit of the rebellious Flapper Girl with feather boas, gloves, fans, pearls and 1920s dresses; and gents - its all about dapper suits, braces and trilby hats.
There will be free Redneck Moonshine to first 50 people through door, silent black and white movies playing on the screens and keep an eye out for our Bootleg Suffragettes on show! And as we all know, memories of the best parties can be a little bit hazy, so we are giving away free mix CDs showcasing 'The Sounds of London'. Not only this, the event will be recorded for broadcast on London's premier house music station Passion FM so you can relive the music....and the outlandish antics!
We proudly present a line-up of DJs that are primed and ready to delight you with despicable beats, from house through to techno, capably mixing up the gloriously groovy and the sounds of the underground to delight the crowd. We're talking aural aphrodisiacs of the most potent variety....unrelenting beats all night long will be provided by Plymouth talent Tom Costelloe, Aaron Cook, Ryan Platts and Mark & Carl. Leading the Bootleg Social residents 'on the run' is head honcho and chief dancefloor-destroyer Tobie Allen (Ministry of Sound/Brixton Academy/Ibiza), plus reprobates Damion Pell (Bootleg Social/Musicology/Ministry of Sound) and local favourite from Bootleg Social Records - Schuhmacher.
And last but by no means least, its the ingredient that make our events so special: the infamous Bootleggers that fill the dancefloor and create the outlandish atmosphere that Bootleg Social is famed for. More than a club night, more than an event, every Bootleg Social is a gathering of debauched dance music lovers that are all quite unashamedly up to no good. Join us at H20 in Plymouth and enter a truly unique clubbing experience, where you'll feel so good it just has to be illegal!
