Plymouth’s longest running clubnight for the harder generation Premonition, returns to the Hub for it’s huge summer party on Saturday August 2nd! After the rip-roaring success of all the Premonition events in the Hub so far, this is set to be a total roadblock of a night that will live long in the memory! Pulling out all the stops, Premonition proudly presents it’s biggest ever line-up!
First up, making his Premonition debut, a true pioneer of hard trance, one of the biggest DJ’s & Producers in the world for over 10 years, flying out from Germany exclusively for Premonition’s summer party, we proudly present DJ Scot Project! His unique combination of hard percussive rhythms mixed with melodic trance elements have made him one of the most successful DJs / producers in dance music history. Over the past few years Scot Project has created waves in club land with his show-stopping performances at leading events such as Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Slinky, Global Gathering, Homelands, Dance Valley, Sensation and many many more festivals and clubs around the globe!
It was Scot Project’s massive 'U (I Got A Feeling)' release on Overdose that first propelled the Germany legend to a global audience, with the track picked up by Positiva (UK), Adrenalin (US), Central Station (Australia) and various other labels around the world. To this day 'U' has featured on more compilation CDs than any other dance track in history - over 50 and counting! After 10 years at the top of the scene that he helped create, Scot Project released his first ever artist album, the critically acclaimed A1 in 2005, and more recently he's been creating a massive buzz under his latest name, Tocs, with the '1' and '2' releases on his own Druck Records label getting huge cross genre playlist support from the trance and tech trance scenes. Quite simply Scot Project is one of the biggest names of our time, a true legend, a true master of his art and an inspiration to 1000’s.
Our 2nd headliner slot sees the return to the Premonition turntables of the Welsh duo Cally & Juice + MC Shocker! It’s impossible to mention Hard Dance in the UK without bringing Cally & Juice into the conversation. Their clever and unorthodox style behind the decks has won them many admirers around the globe and their constant re-writing of the rules keeps people flocking to the front of the decks to see what they’ll be doing next! Whether it’s frantic scratching over drum & bass or hip hop beats, scratching with feet, blindfolded scratching or even hand-spins on the decks, you can guarantee these boys will keep you entertained.
For our 3rd headline set we bring you the UK godfather of Hardstyle and Premonition favourite M-Zone! Starting Djing in the early 80’s, M-Zone has played just about every major event in the Hard Trance/Hardstyle scene you care to think of!!
Next on the bill is Premonition’s very own Pete Kingwell! A man who’s been ripping up dance floors for years with his pounding Hard Trance & Hardstyle! Never failing to leave the club in pieces, Pete’s productions on new label Terminal Trax such as the massive 'Ripped Tooth' collaboration with production whiz kid Loki and his own track 'Clarence' have been smashing up dance floors across the southwest!
Completing the line-up is Premonition’s Hakka, the return of former Premonition resident K-Front and the Terminal Trax co-owner and up & coming production whiz kid Loki!
As if all that wasn’t enough, room 2 will be hosted by Plymouth’s newest Hardcore night Fast Track, bringing you a selection of the southwest’s finest up & coming talent! The event sees sets from The Spin Doctors, Teflon, Age-O, Chris Green, Sean Hamley and Mikey C!
The Hub will be totally transformed with a massive Premonition décor installation, extra air cooling fans added to the venue, mind blowing laser show, huge visual projection screen and by far the best sound system to be heard in Plymouth!
Entry is just £10/12 with the event running from 10pm till 5am!
