This is a daytime event (e.g. starts late morning or early afternoon - see below for times).

You may have heard about "Old Harry Rocks" but what do you know about the man? Harry Paye is Poole's very own famous Pirate, he lived in Hill Street, Poole - 600 years ago!

After the French and Spanish attacked Poole 600 years ago they left the town pillaged, burnt and with many dead. Harry took revenge and captured 120 French and Spanish cargo ships full of valuables and wine to help recompense the people of Poole. A day full of fun activities, floats and of course everyone is dressed as a pirate, come unlock the secrets of Harry Paye!
