Portsmouth City Council and Portsmouth Football Club have teamed up to provide a big screen on Southsea Common to show PFC's Cup Final match against Cardiff City. The 40m2 screen will be positioned on Southsea Common between Serpentine Road and the War Memorial, close to Blue Reef Aquarium. The pre-match build-up will begin at 12:40pm and the real excitement begins at 3pm when the FA Cup Final kicks off.

What a fantastic day! I'll never forget this, the atmosphere, the fans, harry, the players, all truely brilliant . It was amazing to be there .

I have a very sore throat from all the singing, screaming and chanting . But it was so worth it, I can't wait to see them bring the cup home tomorrow

I heard on the news that there was something like 60 thousand fans on southsea common ?

We were gonna go down but had my nephews for the weekend and didnt fancy having to look for em in that crowd everytime they ran off lol

Aparently a lot of the fans both pompey and cardiff were all drinking together in pubs around london after the match and everyone was getting on with no trouble kicking off

I think a few other teams fans could learn a few things from the cardiff and pompey fans , like you dont have to go and kick ten bags of shit out of each other shock horror 2 sets of fans can actually get on :)
