What a night!
Once again demonstrating that people are willing to party on a Tuesday night, UYN last night was by far the most ambitious given the square footage of the room and the noise being created.

Rusty made a hella noise and as usual Dangergoose was an absolute pro. I have to admit Lee/Deadfoot was sorely missed, as soon as the first track kicked in I was filling in the vocals in my head (well random noises in the flow of the vocals anyway). It's all about the show with Chris and he still pulled it off, always a pleasure and well deserving of his regular UYN appearances.

What about Wiservice then? Despite not being able to get to the stage on time despite being given a days notice of when they would start ;), Wiservice performed to their usual stupidly high standard. Although there was a bit of feedback some was expected given the space and it was dealt with relatively well by that dipstick J.Woo. Some boss brass moments but couldn't hear the keys, time for Teddy to send out two lines methinks.

Jellybass were our guests from down the M27 an to start with a pair of lovely (and extremely talented guys). I know their tunes inside out and seeing them in front of me busting it out was pretty much a dream come true. Dubstep come breaks come electronica with a huge butt and good touch with some live bass playing too. Teddy on stage for a jam was sweet and worked beautifully. Expect to see Chix & Joe a lot more around these parts, they have a lot of great projects and plying me with Jellybass badges was definitely a good tactic.

Myself and Vortechtral filled in with a random assortment of local tunage from the likes of Voicechanger, Bujuben, Simon Heartfield, Crusty Paul, Myself, Himself, Gojira and Noli to name a few.

Not a hit in sight and a room full of people, cheers guys!

Doing a night at Wedge next month and starting 3rd year at uni so i'm not going to busy myself up too much. Would be up for a date in November though if that's cool with you?
