The Havana Café Bar is a now under new management and with that new management comes a new and fresh approach to operating this fabulous Licensed Premises. The whole ethos and culture of the Havana Café Bar has changed with a far greater emphasis now placed on exceeding customer expectations and providing them with an exceptional social experience. Speaking to any regular visitors to the Havana Café Bar will quickly show you that the changes are already taking affect

Some of the changes that are in the process of being implemented are:

• Maintaining or improving the already popular drinks pricing policies.
• Providing free pool to customers before 7:00 O’clock and then only charging 50p thereafter.
• Providing a 10% discount to all local people travelling home from work before 7:00 O’clock during the week.
• Investing in the ambience thus ensuring that the customers can enjoy a spotlessly clean, comfortable and attractive environment.
• Ensuring that the bar staff are the most friendly and hospitable in the city.
• Providing excellent entertainment every night of the week that appeals to different sectors of society.
• Providing a safe and pleasant environment by maintaining a zero tolerance approach to drugs abuse and a very active approach to under age drinking.
• A more community based approach with local residents with full sound proofing of the existing utilised areas and a zero impact of any future developments.
• Full utilisation of the amazing out door areas by staging public parties and charity events. The recent Climate Change Awareness Day is a perfect example of where the Havana Café Bar demonstrates its flexibility to host an event thoroughly enjoyed by children during the day and then put on a fabulous combination of live music and top quality DJs.
• New lines that will help complete the package will include: a great value coffee menu; an initially simple but ever expanding food line; good value ice cream menu; a fabulous but incredibly competitive Cocktail menu; a far more expansive and sophisticated yet good value wine list that will appeal to all tastes and preferences and continuously evolving specials menu most of which are requested by customers.
• Fantastic utilisation of the outdoor areas to create the Cities best Smoking Ban Compliant Area that will have only a positive impact on the enjoyment of all Havana Café Bar customers, staff and performing artists.

The aim of the new management is to transform the Havana Café Bar into the most pleasant, appealing and coolest bar in town. The most important values of the staff include: delivering great value; providing a venue that is inclusive to all; listening to customers and really ensuring that every customer has a great night and turns the Havana Café Bar into their venue of choice.

The Havana is also now a key member of the team that is trying to help raise the awareness of Climate change, it is in the process of helping local artists exhibit their work in a great venue, it is working closely with emerging bands and musicians.
