The Rogue Element is 27-year old London producer Ben Medcalf. In April 2004 he signed an album deal with the reputable and eclectic Exceptional Records label. His 12" releases and remixes have all received widespread acclaim from the breakbeat community and also enjoyed notable support from Radio 1 and Xfm. At Breakspoll 2006 he received the 'Best Breakthrough Producer' award and was nominated for 'Best Album'.

The Rogue Element's acclaimed debut album 'Rogue Rock' is out now on Exceptional Records.

The Rogue Element is one of Pompeys homegrown talents becoming a multi award-winning producer and DJ, working with top artists includeing Zabiela and the Plump DJs, also consistently rocking major venues worldwide, pushing the breaks scene all over the planet!
