Kiss My Bass aims to be the loudest, dirtiest and hottest night in Portsmouth, backed up with a repository of mixes from its residents, guests from other local nights and then guests of increasing profile. The emphasis is on bassline driven breaks, electro, glitch and whatever else that is guaranteed to destroy the dance floor. Kiss My Bass will also be active online , providing you with regular free dj set downloads from the residents and guests, event information and the Kiss My Bass forum.

After weeks of hype and a well appreciated amount of interest we have finally got a date for the launch night of Kiss My Bass - Portsmouth's newest dance floor focused night of bass lines, beats, squeaks and bleeps. For this epic night we have chosen to make Havana in Southsea the bass camp. Havana is a well-located and good size establishment with plenty of room to dance, reasonably price beverages, sound bar staff and up for it regulars. To make this a little bit special we will be taking down our own lighting, decking the place out and slapping you as hard as possible with the Pirate Sound System, some much necessary features that will be present at all of our nights to come. As we stated in our original pitch, we have got some class residents and will also be bringing in the cream of local talent from other nights shortly followed by guests of increasing profile. But, that said, the theme for the launch night is ‘meet the residents‘ who are... Fotza - Aimz - Dave Stevens - Udy Each of these bitches have their own unique style but all share one thing in common - a love of bass, beats and a pretty damn good idea of what the dance floor is after. So make a date in your diary, tell your mates and make sure you don’t miss out on what is set to be an explosive night of musical entertainment of the low down and dirty variety.
