KISS MY BASS 8 @ HAVANA, SOUTHSEA / SAT 31ST JAN

After an amazing sell-out New Years Eve party we are looking to the next event which is gonna be a belter of a night. Joining the residents this time are Jung (muujun.co.uk / NSB Radio) and IITone (Standard Audio / Brighton Breaks / Dusted Breaks).

It has been said that there aint no party like an S Club Party and whilst us here at KMB would normally agree, our favourite popsters fall way short of the mark when compared to the mighty Jung. This boy screams party with his cut up mix of dirty house, breaks and electro. Jung first got into running the dancefloor about 4 years ago and in a short time has made a bit of a name for himself, gracing the booth at many legendary nights including The End's mighty Chew The Fat, London's Herbal and Oxford's Eclectric at The Cellar. He has shared the bill with the likes of Meat Katie, Riton, Alex Metric and Ben & Lex to name a few. So it's clear that Jung's wordage impresses and after the KMB crew have witnessed his magic on a number of occasions we thought it would be rude to not get him down to Portsmouth to rock the KMB dancefloor.

Producing Jungle, DnB and Bigbeat since the early 90s, IITones styles and tastes have seen rapid change and improvement. Infusing the raw, key elements of electronic music with the sharp, sleek, modernist edge of Techno, Dub and Breakbeat. His love for punchy, rattling drums and seering, thundering basslines is the foundation for IITone's sound, becoming more and more apparant in his latest works, yet IITones understanding of a well-balanced melody, twinned with a passion for experimentation and exploration in sound are the driving forces that allow him to set dancefloors and minds alight! His latest release on Standard Audio, War Cry / Doomsday, is currently in the top 5 of the top 100 digital releases at trackitdown.com and he is soon to be putting out his own rework of Fat Loan by KMB's very own Udy on Dusted Breaks Records. Keep an eye on this man!

This weekend people, gonna be a corker!

This is gonna be our last event at Havana as we start taking steps towards the next level with a bigger venue, bigger djs, bigger production and the much needed later licence.

Havana has been our home as we grew from one month to the next and has seen us develop a wicked dedicated following so make sure you all don't miss out on the last party there, the end of a very short but sweet era!
