Well.... what an AMAZING night!!!

Had an absolute stonker :)

From the moment i walked in my feet were moving and my hips were shaking and i was feeling the grooves of the PunchFunk room running through my veins. At first i was thinking to myself "who the fuck are all these people?!" There was so many unknown faces in there but i still felt right at home. Everyone was grinning from ear to ear and i knew from the word go i was in for a good un...
I arrived just as the The Exits were getting set up and i thought they were really really good and set the tone nicely with there indie-electro set (quote me if i'm wrong but thats the kinda vibe i was getting from there music) and it was nice touch having a full live band playing some funky tunes to get everyone geared up for The Japanese Popstars, i felt like i was at a festival at one point and i should have been wearing my wellies and rain mac!
Now... The Japs.... what can i say???? one word.... AMAZING.... no 2 words actually.... FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!
I was really looking forward to seeing these guys again as i really enjoyed there set when i saw them at The Key in London and was gagging for some more :) Was soooooo chuffed when i was told they were coming to my home town and persuaded lots of my friends to come down and check them out as i had raved about them so much. And to say the least, they weren't dissapointed. Can i have some more please Sir???

Again Punchfunk you have managed to introduce a new way of clubbing to Pompey, i just hope everyone else appreciated it as much as i did... Keep at it guys! All the PunchFunk 'newbies' i spoke to last night were loving it and i can guarantee we'll be seeing more of them in the future :)
