On Saturday 14th of August we deliver our first event on SPITBANK FORT, one of the most unusual military buildings ever constructed and one of the most unique venues to be found anywhere. Spitbank Fort is a massive man-made island, sitting a mile offshore from Portsmouth Harbour. Virtually unaltered since 1870, Spitbank Fort offers an unrivalled atmosphere and some of the most spectacular
views in the UK.
If that was not enough, we have the Legendary DJ CRAIG RICHARDS! Craig, one half of the famous Tyrant team, holds a weekly residency at Fabric and is responsible for not only playing tripped out, funky electro, minimal techno and deep, freaky house sets but for inviting an array of specialists to play and perform live alongside him - Akufen, Ricardo Villalobos, Jeff Milligan, Silicon Scally, Baby Ford, Sieg uber die sonne, Luomo and Michael Mayer to name but a few.
He also has a monthly residency at 'Stealth' in Nottingham. The success of his residency and more recently a busy studio schedule means that he very rarely leaves London. Craig recently compiled a double CD for Fabric released in March and is in the midst of setting up his own production label Tyrant for which he will produce some music and all the artwork.
Now add the fact that this is a daytime event (2pm-7pm) and you will agree this is an event not to be missed!!
Tickets are £16 for the day and include ferry to and from Spitbank Fort. Tickets also entitles you to Free entry (up until 9pm) at the Mezzé after party, @Po na na after INVADERS from 7:30pm till 2am with host of DJs
