Rui da Silva has long been recognised as one of Portugal’s most precious exports, his name now synonymous with quality dance music. Since releasing the massive No.1 hit single ‘Touch Me’ onto the dance scene in 2000, his name has shot to stellar proportions as one of the world’s best tribal/progressive DJs and producers.

Disgruntled with a local club scene that was becoming more of a distraction than an inspiration, Rui left Portugal in 1999 to immerse himself in London’s booming music industry. He believed that London was “where things are happening" and London, needless to say, was smitten with the newcomer. Rui quickly established a considerable following and a high level of exposure here in the UK which ultimately enabled him to set up ‘Kismet Records’ in 2000.

Rui now shares his time between the studio and his DJing career which takes him all around the world. He regularly plays all the top clubs in Ibiza including Amnesia, Pacha and Space, as well as club all around Europe.

Although echo's of Cassandra's demand to 'Touch her in the Morning" will always resound in the public's memory, Rui's DJ sets reflect something far more underground! Expect tech-house grooves.... dark, delicious and seriously sexy!

Now for our next guest, DJ Sonny who's fast climbing profile, which includes a Top 20 position in UK's prestige DJ Mag Top 100 poll for 2 years running, a former 4 year residency at the infamous Zouk Club with his signature "You" nights, indicates why this DJs unique blend of forward thinking sounds has caught the attention of many!

DJ Mag said this about Sonny's ability to rock the dancefloor:

“...At Shine, the SAW recordings party is going off in the main room, but it's an unsung hero in the shape of DJ Sonny, who manages to pack out the Shelbourne Bar with his expertly crafted beats...' excerpts from DJ Mag, issue 10-23 May 2006”

Sonny went on to headline prestigious DJ Magazine's Asia/Australia tour in November 2007, yet another landmark for this rising star.

In 2006/7 Sonny showed true talent when he released his track “ Day 3” on Cubic records (UK), including remixes by Tony Thomas, Alan Barratt and The Producers. The tune stayed in Beatport's Top 100 chart for over a month! One of many charts that this boy has been 'topping' for a while now! His new single "Love in the Machine" is poised for a release in 2008 on London's shoreditch imprint Mighty Rumble music.
