UGLY BEATS with THE FEZ! & ANORAK (Love Love Records) / TRIPLE M (Breakneck) / DIRTBOX / VETERINARY MEDICINE / Fri 22nd May @ Theme (jungle/breakcore/dubstep/electronica/dnb/gabba)
THE FEZ! (Love Love Records) myspace.com
The works of The Fez! are layered with turbo spazz bass that kicks out with breakcore snares. It can be dark at times but The Fez! maintains a powerful dancable edge to his music that sets him aside from the more introspective sect of electronica but with all the right tricks. Quality productions with a healthy dose of rave, pace and originality.

ANORAK (Love Love Records/1 Man Army/Jungletek Movements) myspace.com
Also from the Love Love Records camp and with an E.P. due to be released on the mentioned label we have Anorak, a dj/producer from the lovely town of Bath who makes some damn right rotten mutant jungle dnb with a health dosh of mashup and I.D.M. chucked in to keep things interesting. Check out the myspaz pages for both these guys and you will see why we simply had to get em involved!

TRIPLE M (Breakneck)
This man has been resident at the South Coast's top dnb night, Breakneck, since day one and over the past four years has commanded dancefloors at nearly 50 events on their stage. We bring him along for a nasty set of darkstep and dnb in a manner that Ugly Beats most definately approves of.

DIRTBOX & VETERINARY MEDICINE
The Ugly Beats residents will be playing their usual allsorts, Veterinary Medicine a live set of original material and bootleg twisted electro thru to techno and gabba, and Dirtbox a bit of a mashup with occasional splatters of unlikable acapellas.

Friday 22nd May / 10pm-3am / £5 all night
Theme Nightclub / Granada Road / Southsea

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the odd club classic. I just think they sound better at 180 or higher ;)
