Maybe its just that i've woken up but it just feels flat. Boost the saturation and contrast a little

Well, I wudn’t say it’s a “professional” picture… it just turned out to be a pretty good one considering.
Im still learning how to use photoshop properly to get all the correct contrast, saturation etc. so any advice and feedback is always welcome when it comes to my pictures. (so any hints or tips then just PM me please).
But all in all, thanks guys!!

Carl, u poser, lol.

It would also help if the image was close to being sharp, get some more practice with the camera before worrying too much about photoshop

Make sure the camera gets focus on the subject you're taking a picture of or if it's being caused by camera shake try a faster shutter speed or use a tripod to support the camera.

If you're unsure how to do any of these things with your camera, it might be helpful to read the manual.

I do try to do that all the time.... obviously your gunna get the odd one that doesnt go fully to plan, lol. Otherwise thanx for the advice, I haven't taken any courses in photography, yet, and just picked up a camera and started clickin away as you do. Its something that has always interested me so am going to start to take it way more seriously once i get some new equipment together cus at the mo i only got a shitty Fuji S9000. Nothing special!!

Not nit picking, just in a bad mood, but none of that matches your profile at all. Don't advertise yourself as a tog if your not. I'm not a train driver

Understand wot ur saying there bruv.

A. i didnt right that on my profile... TG did when he pimped my profile.

B. I started working with him at the beggining of this year, and since then hav started taking a lil pride in the work but not really thought to deeply about it. The only thing ive started looking at seriously through TGP is the editing side of things which I am still learning. Thats why I didnt put this picture forward and someone else (who knows bugger all about photography) did. I know what to look for in a good piccy and untill mine are at that standard (or your standards) then I wont put any forward.
