The Disco Slut DJ's

September sees Disco Slut welcome to Preston another fine selection of DJ’s currently devoted to pushing the boundaries in electronic music. First up we welcome Punchfunk Recordings as part of their label tour, Punchfunk have come on leaps and bounds in the past year with releases from the likes of Jon Gurd, Dave Robertson, Radio Ones Fergie, and of course our headliner for the nights proceedings Rob Mooney, they have also been privileged enough to provide their own mini stage at both this years Hi-Fi and Global Gathering Festivals.

Rob has an extensive back catalogue of productions, notably in the past year his track ‘Feelin’ Electro’ became a massive success, with it being featured on compilation albums from Renaissance & Cream, as well as getting number one spot on one of dance musics premier download sites ‘Beatport’ and countless plays on Radio 1. His unique style of music has gained him support all around the world from some of the biggest dj’s in the business such as John Digweed, James Zabiela, Hernan Cattaneo, Anthony Pappa, Fergie, Lee Burridge & Tom Stephan to name but a few.

Chris Vaux is the man behind the fast rising Punchfunk brand and we expect a blinding selection of electronic beats alongside some serious party antics from him as he showcases the Punchfunk sound.

Head honcho of Monu:Mental recordings Jus’ Phil also joins us on the night to make his Preston debut. This technically superb, talented DJ and producer will be a familiar name to listeners of Fergie’s Radio One show. JP has had two unbelievable years as resident for Fergies very own Excentric night, playing at some of the best clubs in the UK such as Godskitchen, Garlands and of course Turnmills where the last 3 Excentric parties have been held.

Support as ever comes from the Disco Slut residents. This time around we look forward to a couple of back to back battles between Morgan, Chris ‘That Boy’ Bond, Pete Carvell and Jim Da Mentalist as they do what they do best – taking the Disco Slut faithful on an ecstatic journey through the night and sending you home with an ear to ear smile.

We bet you’ll look good on the dancefloor!
