Qudos rocked Reading yet again!
Yet again Qudos delivers a salaciously satisfying array of Trance masters (and Mistress ;) to the town of Reading!!

If you missed the last event, then I hope you were able to catch the event his time round.

It might have been getting colder and darker outside, but with the amount of people who turned up and the amazing lights and lazers that were provided, we were able to forget all that.

The club was unfortunately unable to get the heaters working outside, so all dj's were given an ample slot inside spread out through the night...a tough thing to organise last minute, but this caused no problems.

We got to the club as Wynney was just coming to a close...a relative newcomer, but one that is proving to be making a good start on the scene and hope to see more of this guy.

The Dirty cowboys were set to show off their original wacky dj'ing style and they achieved this with some crazy ass selection of track choices!!

This was followed by the lady responsible for the whole night, Miss Tina Martin. This was the first set of the night venturing onto Trance which Qudos is known for. She displayed a confident and exciting range of tunes which were quite techy, including her own recent remix with Pedro Delgardo - Remix of Odessa Soundfreaks 'Blow Your Ears', which went down a storm & got the crowd ever so ready for the next set & the prestigous Fred Baker.

I personally have not seen Fred in action before but was very impressed and he was not good for my bladder! (Didn't wanna leave the dancefloor). Friendly as well as talented, he showed the crowd what he has become known for with his 'Baker style' influence. The time seemed to fly by with a mass of tune after tune.

If this wasn't enough, another visitor to the country was John O' Callaghan. This was also my first live show for me, although of course knowing his production talents, I knew this was going to be good. People were definately loving this set and the club was in the height of its capacity, although it never felt TOO busy...just right and enough to know it had been a success.

John's latest tune, 'Big Sky' brought the club into it's element and with the amazing light show and the smoke machine, I could easily have thought I was in a much larger club with the atmosphere the DJ's had all created.

Last but by no means least, Marcos Euphonic was the last Dj of the night, and he played a quality assortment of tunes that got even those tired people, and girls with sore feet (i.e. me) off the sofas and onto the middle of the dancefloor. He ensured that just because he had the last shift behind the decks, that it didn't mean anyone could leave! They just didn't want to while he was playing. He also provided the free CD for those pre booking tickets which I thought was a nice touch by Qudos.

I felt that the team behind Qudos, the club staff and all the people who attended this event helped make it what it was. I felt part of a big happy Trance family and I think this will encourage people to recommend this event to their friends for the future, and at this rate, what a future it will be!

Thanks to Tina and everyone at Qudos.

See you in January!!

This picture sums up how everyone was feeling that night! Happy and loving it!

Loved it. JOC and Marcos had my hands glued to the celing most of the night. I was on the terrace when I heard the first few bars of Big Sky and literally ran inside to give it some !

I'm usually a trainspotter and remember some of the tracks played but Mr Al Cohol impaired my memory... anyone remember some of the other tracks played ? Didn't Marcos drop VDM - Fly Away ?

Thanks for the glowing review Lucy and everyones comments :)

I just also want to say a huuuuuge thank you to everyone who was part of this event - I was completely 'wowed' at the turn out (doing more than capacity over the course of the night!!) - and the dedication of you clubbers and friends who came to support. You created such an amazing atmosphere in there and stomped on that dancefloor right til the end!

Also a massive thanks to all the DJ's who played, you were ALL fantastic and also without you this night certainly wouldn't have been what it was! And last but not least a big thank you to all the staff at Mango who make putting events on there a pleasurable experience, including James who put on the awesome lazer display!

Our plan for next year is to continue to bring to you, a party that offers 'something different' to what any other events offer in Reading - music from a range of upcoming to established dj's from across the globe, warming up with house and electro to techno, to what Qudos is primarily about... Trance Trance Trance!

If you hadn't seen the posters up on Friday - our next event is on Friday 11th January, and appearing on the night we have the delectable Claudia Cazacu! Romanian born Claudia has just recently returned from her world tour, and her label 'Couture' is making huge waves in the music industry - showcasing some of the worlds leading trance producers including her own productions, she has just recently appeared in the November issue of Mixmag as it's featured production artist! - Full line-up to be released very soon!!

Also we have a group on Facebook so feel free to join to be kept up to date with all things Qudos! :)

Thank you again!

Tina x

Had a great birthday night. Thanks to Tina for reshuffling the order to let me & Sam play inside. Enjoyed playing B2B with Wynney, enjoyed the DC's, as always! I even said the words "it's quite nice hearing a bit of trance"!!
Looking forward to January now..:)
