One of the longest serving and best supported nights in the area is back for another month at Mango fresh from celebrating our second birthday last month with our usual red light district flavour and Filthy Funk Funk smashing it up like only they can.
Joining FFF are Paul Morrell and Tom Frisco. Paul has had an awesome year, playing alongside the likes of Jules, Seb Fontaine, John Kelly and Oakenfold at his massive Classique night, which has branched out of Coventry and is now appearing all over the country in front of up to 2000 clubbers. He raised the roof at Mango last time and no doubt will this time too!
Since opening in October 2006 where Herd & Fitz and Abi Bailey brought the house down, we've seen guests like Judge Jules, Martijn Ten Velden, Hoxton Whores, Lottie, Kate Lawler and Filthy Rich join residents Filthy Funk Funk and Oliver Lang on an epic adventure at venues like Canvas, Ghost in Northampton, Vanilla and Mantra in Windsor as well as venues in Preston, Torquay and Winchester. But Mango is where it all began- our spiritual home if you like, and we're anticipating another banging night ahead!
Musically we've gone from funky electro to pretty much anything goes these days, progressive, electro tech and minimal all feature as house music has progressed in the time we've been running our night.
One thing is for sure- we'll be having as much fun as ever with what's synonymous to erotique events: sexy lingerie clad dancers, gaudy boudoir-esque erotique decor that is so crucial to our red light district themed night, and free shots of red aftershock for the early birds along with complimentary Filthy Funk Funk promo cds.
