Ken Fan - kenfan.com

Yes it’s true the mighty Ken Fan is leaving our beloved country for a warmer climate. Madrid is his next destination for domination as new resident of Fabrik Madrid, who’s capacity is 10,000 and is officially the world’s biggest club! Ken has decided to play his last UK set for us at Voodoo, so if you want underground make sure you come too Voodoo.
Not to be mistaken for Fabric London where he was also resident and some of you will know him from, he held residencies alongside MissMoneypennys and Chuff Chuff.
Having been nominated for the house music awards for Pioneers best break through DJ proves he is one of the leaders of the new skool but with an old skool attitude. The breakthrough DJ award came just 14 years after spinning his first tune; the career has seen Ken in the form of DJ, Promoter, Producer, Remixer, Radio Host, DJ record shop owner and an all round house music fanatic. Ken quotes Djs such as Sasha, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, LTJ Buckam and Top Buzz as the guys that inspired him at such an early age.
Ken has a passion for all aspects of house music be it deep, funky, techy, minimal, dirty or soulful, so he has the ability to take his crowds on that all elusive musical journeys. Ken regularly plays with the masters of their trade, be it Sasha, Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, Pete Tong, Little Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Frankie Knuckles, Farley Jackmaster Funk, David Morales, Danny Rampling, Graeme Park, Ron Carol or his old mentor Jim Shaft Ryan.
Lady Parker - moneypennys.com

From initially starting out as a self taught DJ, It wasn’t long before Rachel arrived at the doors of Patric McLean’s Chamber Music Studios in Birmingham to progress her DJ skills. Now under his guidance along with partner and co-producer Moneypenny’s resident DJ & A+R label manger, the mighty Jeff Jefferson, Lady Parker really begin to flourish and hone her burgeoning talent. As Lady P’s DJ career began to gather momentum and her experience grew her own unique style developed, a cross between vocal & tribal house but always with a distinct driving beat. This coupled with her amazing ability to spot a killer tune led to the venues getting bigger and better. She has now not only graced the decks throughout Britain but also in Europe with club giants such as BCM in Magaluf and Eden in Ibiza. Plus currently holding residencies at Bushwackers in Birmingham, & Shakedown in her hometown of Burton on Trent and of course Voodoo in Mango Reading and THAT in London. Tearing up dance floors alongside some of the world’s best DJ’s such as Oliver Lang, Freemasons, Jason herd, Jo Mills, Brandon Block and K-Klass. Lady P is one of the most humble artists you could find on the scene, which is a total contradiction to her glamorous image. However her uplifting persona is definitely matched by her uplifting floor rocking sets. But there’s one thing for sure, you know when Lady Parker’s on the decks!
Keith Newman -

The Mighty Newman is back from his global trek, having graced most of Europe, the Orient and the USA, Keith is back in the UK for a short time and is here for a one off gig specially designed for Voodoo. All the normal Newman tricks will be back and my god have we missed them.
Keith is easily one of the nicest DJ’s out there, and one of the finest party revellers I have had chance to rub shoulders with. I have not anticipated a set as much as this for a long time.
Keith’s style is a very uplifting and straight god dam house. The legend is back and his legendary closing party is on.
Dave Oldershaw – myspace.com
Dave’s love for music turned into an obsession with a pair of turntables at a very young age. He soon went from bedroom Djs to resident at Birmingham’s first after hour’s club, The West End Bar.
Dave’s ability to keep a dance floor rocking soon got noticed by Birmingham’s super club Gods kitchen. When they opened their new club Code (which is now called Air) in 2001 Dave became resident for Gods kitchen and their first house night Babushka.
Dave was soon playing up and down the UK at nights such as The Egg in London, Dusted in Middlesbrough and Hotdog in Nottingham. He has also played several times in Ibiza at Kanya and Coastline.
Dave plays house music with a dirty, twisted, driving edge to it. He is never shy to rattle a sound system with a phatt baseline!!
The natural step was to get into producing, which he did with top producer Funkagenda. Dave’s first track “Orgasm” got signed straight away to Steve Lawler’s label Harlem Trax. Since then he has had tracks signed to The Trophy Twins label Pop Pop Records and also Naked Flame Records. Dave is currently busy in the studio working on new tracks and collaborations with people like Mickyslim.
Terry Costello - aroundtheworldin80raves.co.uk
Terry played for various nights and clubs in Birmingham but it wasn't enough, so the decision to venture to the white isle. Seeing massive success in playing numerous times at the Zoo project ,Space, Es Paradise and various bars and boat parties.
Oh his return and with a massive hunger for the industry Costello called the legendary Warehouse project and convinced them to let him run a night, and so his own event Up2nogood was born.
An excellent judge of the finest tech house and techno, has seen Costello play all over the country in Leeds, London, Manchester and Birmingham. The success of up2nogood emulates how well Costello is doing and is making a huge impact on the clubbing scene.
Don’t forget Voodoo is hosting the NYE party at Mango so get you interest in early and don’t be left out in the cold!
