Out to the full crew that reached down Plug n Play for the second Future-Formz event of 2007 last Saturday, was absolutely FIRE! Saturday saw the return of the HUGE BESPOKE Sound entertainment team in full effect dropping round abouts 14k of "Crystal Sound" in the air, if this wasn't enough the BESPOKE team also installed and ran their own intelligent laser display unit, Smoke/haze machine & lighting units the dance floor was rumbling crisp basslines, roaring Mids & crystal clear Highs, complemented by MC's Jolla, Sye, JC, Killa, JT, DMC & Flewid on rotation!!
The night kicked off with DJ Rapid playing his very first set as a married man (congrats again!) a varied set encompassing light and mid-light rollers as well as some old skool joints sure fire a way to start the dance! next up was the sounds of the DJ Maverick who played a wicked set, dropping some big dubbage & ragga influenced D&B!!DJ C4 took to the stage next playing a rolling set and premiering his new release on Outtah London records (Outtah london 003 - Cumulous) along with his usual tight mixing (and Rapid jumping in for a quick blend here n there) this set was absolutely fire!standard! Next up was the mighty Neil Mac representing subfactory! (every other Friday @ Purplr turtle!) big set as usual this was a very varied set dropping some big tunes & opening with a hugely vibe filled intro! crowd was getting live and loving the bass vibes as DJ Flannagan stepped up to drop a HUGE set representing Bassground.Nl, Flannagan played some massive dubs as well as some older favourites - finally killing off the set with his very own DJ Flannagan branded Blood sugar dub plate, as well as scratching his way into the ravers hearts this set was definately high grade!Flannagan stepped down to pass over the reigns to the DJs Carlos & Dark Red who embarked on a 2hr back to back journey !what can I say about this........SOME SERIOUS WOBBLAGE! a mampi selection of Trojan sized tracks completely destroyed the dance floor getting wheel ups on all most of them! definitely not one for the OAP's or anyone suffering with a weak heart - absolutely vibsed the set down, unfortunately the night drew to a close all too soon for everyone concerned!
All in all thoroughly high octane enjoyment for everyone attending - Roll on 28th April!! - Watch this space for info on the next event!!
