The venue for this amazing event is the result of an exhaustive UK wide search, many venues were viewed and discarded and eventually we found the Rivermead leisure complex in Reading. This HUGE arena brings together all the elements required to make an event good enough to use the name Colossus. First of all we will be installing a monstrous unrestricted sound system. This is only possible in an arena of this size, club events are great but to hear Hardcore on a massive system pumping throughout a huge arena is something that every true Hardcore raver needs to experience! To compliment this we will be installing a custom built stage of gigantic proportions, this will provide the platform for all your favourite Hardcore artists to perform to the very best of their ability, this is one event that all the performing artists are truly excited about. As you know all this would be nothing without an amazing light show to bring the event to life, we know how important this is to you & months of planning have gone into designing a unique light show that will really blow your mind. Over 50 moving lights, together with multiple high powered laser systems & giant projection screens blended together in fine style, this needs to be seen to be believed!

The most important part of any event if of course the line-up and we have gathered together a selection of only the very best at Colossus 2. For starters we realised that to use the massive stage to it's full potential we needed something extra special, that's why we have the UK biggest Hardcore label performing their ONLY LIVE PA this year. All the Raverbaby artists have been gathered together to give you a full on, totally live, stage show performing the best Hardcore anthems, voted best label in the awards time & time again, this is unmissable. We knew that for this event we needed to give you something extra so we also have another 2 unique sets, from DJ SY & Chris Unknown. These two sets will be complemented by live vocals from Lou Lou and MC Storm plus Grant Paterson & MC Whizzkid. This is all on top of our normal exceptional line-up featuring over 30 artists from across the hardcore musical spectrum.

Colossus 2 is set to be the biggest 100% Hardcore event of 2008, can you imagine how amazing it will be to dance to this huge arena to the sounds of banging Hardcore? Don't forget that we will also be supporting the future of our scene in arena 2. We will also be providing an outdoor complex for you to chill or take a ride on the free funfair!
