Venue is a large club on 2 floors next to the town hall in Todmorden, at what used to be the legendary Bluenote club. It hosts a variety of different nights, but is known for the 'Strictly Vinyl' night, which becomes a monthly fixture at the last weekend in January. All through January you can double up at the bar - pay £5 and get £10 in drinks vouchers. Join the Facebook group for more details. Venue 21 is the basement room, fitted out with an Allen & Heath 464 DJ mixer, Camco and Crown power amps, DBX system processing and Ohm loudspeakers which deliver 18 Kilowatts of solid sound. Their dance floor is covered with 12 Kilowatts of sound which is pumped through two 18 inch subs to provide the bass and four mid to high cabs to provide the detail. The remaining 6 Kilowatts is channelled through the surround sound speakers ensuring you experience the music the way it was intended.
