East Coast Flyers and Promotions revew for a NIGHT IN WONDERLAND!

After leaving Wonderland in Rotherham, I had a massive smile on my face due to a WONDERful night! From the second of walking into the club I knew it was going to be an awesome night. The club is absolutely astronomical; it’s got the lights, lasers, sound system, and the vibe, everything you would want in a club. Perfect venue in my eyes!

First up was Cruze and Breaks with the bad boy, MC Friction as they got the party started! MC Friction does what he does best hyping the crowd and got the ravers dancing.
It was a slow start, but with the ravers realising that TrackMaster Music were in full force they were glued to the dance floor!

I went outside for a breather and a fag break because it was hard to keep up with the flow, due to me not being hardcore enough. To fast for mini me ravers such as my self (Ortie you slag lol)…
As though I was about to walk back in after my breather I met up with DJ Ben X-Treme and his new Mrs-Jew (Kayleigh).The second we walked in X-Treme had all the ravers crowding around him asking for pictures, etc… The ravers knew that the main man was in the building! He was here Rude Boy style!

On the mic by this time was Macca with his brilliant unique style smashing it up for the krew. On the decks with him was DJ Brisk, slamming the tunes like you would expect from such a legend. Combined together they really did get the party going. Did very well leading from the rest of the TrackMasters!

At this same time I took a wonder upstairs with my partner in crime for the night MC Rhoadsy, to take a gander. The naughty boy Ortie was there blaring it on the mic showing us what he can do to get us stomping. After a while of sweating it out up there I wondered back down to catch the Brisk who was still playing with the best tunes out!

After a while MC Dizzyvibe took to the mic and man is this guy good. Honestly you have to listen to his mouth scratching! He is awesome man I tell ya! Ortie took to the mic in the main room with Dizzy, and he was hyping the crowd the way he usually does, in his ruuuude boy fashion!

The clock ticks, and as it does, DJ Squad-E enters the building! I had ravers coming up to me saying “Squad-E’s here, Squad E’s here”!
He created a magnificent buzz as soon as he walked in!

Up on the mic with Squad-E was Dizzyvibe with his wicked talent!
Tune after tune was a complete slammer like usual from Squad-E, the 2007 Breakthrough Award Winner! Dizzyvibe had a wicked night going on here by this point with the dance floor heaving!

On the mic for Ultrabeat (Chris Henry) was the main man himself Keyes. Together with the tunes from Chris and the rhymes from Keyes the ravers were singing, stomping, jumping about to a truly amazing set… In my eyes this was the best set of the night so far!
I don’t think I stopped moving for nearly the whole set, together smashing it up with the birthday girl MadMaz (21 again hehe), the piss artist Ortie, Ben, Kayleigh and Rhoadsy! At one point during this set I said to the others I was with, “Fuck Tranzmission, why do we wanna be there when we can be in Wonderland!” And in Wonderland we were, this was the place of dreams on this Saturday night!

Next was one of my favourite DJ’s at the minute, Himbo. He was back to back with Caos with Dizzyvibe as the mic controller. Himbo honestly absolutely smashed the granny out of this set! He and Coas impressed BIGTIME! I think that Himbo is going to go a long long way if he keeps on performing like he is doing week in week out! Take my hat off to you mate, and when he played ‘Everywhere I Turn’ it just got me completely mesmerized from head to toe with enjoyment! Everyone on the dance floor was in tuned to a wicked set!

But, this was not all, there was more from the night! Nice to see the best set was saved till last. Who else would you rather have for the last set of the night than the one and only, Go Tell Ya Momma’, Ravers Re-United duo, DJ Ben-Xtreme and MC Keyes!
This was one of the best sets I have heard in a long time and I don’t think I have seen a dance floor rip the place apart like the Wonderland ravers have, in a long time either!
Each and every tune was a slammer. Each and every rhyme was a slammer. Combined together, wow, it was outstanding!
The ravers rocked the club to its foundations from start to finish! Massive big up for the best set of the night!


So to wrap it all up I VERY HIGHLY recommend on coming to Rotherham for a night in Wonderland if you wanna have a smile on your face till the early hours! I have not had such a good time at a rave in a long time!
