Anyone else think it was a bit shit?
Yeah, eventually got there after loads of fucking around at about 5.30pm, catching numerous coaches and wanky fucking shuttle buses (a shuttle cock had more 'shuttle' about it) and seen as how there were 12 of my good friends goin and prodigy were headlining i couldnt fail to have a brilliant time.

Although i kept walking round with the thought in the back of my mind that this festival was shit.

Been to the last 4 creamfields and enjoyed myself thouroughly but this one just seemed dis-organised and crapply put together from the start.

I know its creams first time at this new site (which is again shit by the way, too compact and the whole site felt too small) but whats with switch not turning up and nobody knowing anything about it? okay, if he couldn't turn up for a genuine reason then at least get someone to tell us something rather than just sticking someone else on hoping no-one would notice.

Chikubuku or chickabu or however its spelt had the best fucking line-up goin for me but the sound system was ridiculous, im not talking about a little crackle or fuzz here an there litterally my speakers on my computer in my bedroom kick out a better sound, they honestly do! it was quiet as fuck!

Prodigy kept the whole thing together (just) and even their set wa short an sweet as they were obviously told to keep to a strict time deadline and therefore had to cut most of their songs short and abondoned the normal encore of Charlie says. . .

I reckon Gnarles barkley thought about all this before hand and decided not to show up.

I dont think i'll be goin to another creamfields anytime soon.

I thought it was brilliant meself and thought it was well organised.

But it was my first creamfields so i cant compare to past events.

Only problem was there werent no bins anywhere, the cream tent was fun when your twisted, Dancing on a hill whilst balancing on 3000 bottles

had a really good time over all, but the sound in pretty much every tent I went in and the outdoor stage was really bad.

oh yeah I got dropped off at the north entrance by 'shuttle' bus and had to get to the south exit to meet my mates... not one single official of any description could tell me how to get to the other entrance... no one had any idea, they just told me to walk 'that way'.. 'they think' in the end I got a taxi for about 10-15 minutes so it would have taken a long time to walk.

41 quid train tickets, then a 40 quid taxi to the event (cos the shuttle bus was full) then a 20 minute walk to the arena...then a massive crowd trying to get into the event...
badly organised for travel..
but luckily me and the crew had a fantastic night out..

I thought it was a better venue than the old one, there was a bit of walking to do though.
A couple of the tents were a touch quieter than I would have liked, and the sound levels for the Prodigy were appalling - way too loud. Apart from that I thought it was a brilliant night - it's what you make it, isn't it? If you're there with a good set of mates and the right attitude, anything can be a great time.

shuttle cock as a description for the bus service nailed it on the head as a description for me.

Apart from that the line ups were ace, cream especially. Prodigy & Zutons were ace, Enjoyed Armin especially also.

Yeah man, its definately what ya make it like, i did enjoy myself and had a mint laugh with the group but couldnt help wandering round thinking what a badly organised bag of wank the whole thing was.

I agree that some of the set line ups were a bit dodgy, but on the whole I thought it was good in the fact that there was virtually no queue and the music was great

This was the 1st time i been to creamfields & i do think i'll go back anytime soon. Wasn't happy at all with the being dumped & having to get on those stupid buses.. that everyone was running to get all at once so u ended up getting squished!

It did seem to small for so many people. I got started on twice... i cant help pulling faces when im in a bit of a mess.. (think most people can relate to that) & because of this some girl tryed head butting me saying "what the fuck are you looking at" then a few mins later i stepped on some guys foot by mistake coz it was so packed in the tent... so i said sorry to him & really aggressively he said "you fuckin will be" - did not like this at all - i've been to global, escape in the park & a few other festivals & never had anything like this. Too many so solid crew wannabies there!

I think the sound in the tidy tent was shit.. unless u were down at the front & this was also the case in most tents.. not loud enough.

But i suppose i did have a good time.. always do at festivals. 1st time i've been able to see the prodigy so that made it for me really :)

I thought it was bouncin' myself, you're right about the volume in some tents I remember the volume on Roger Sanchez' set being a bit low but it all turned out brilliant! I'd go back today if I could :)

i missed it for the first time in years.. i've always had a good time but i'm also always looking over my shoulder for that group of chavs that are after kicking fuck out of you or your mates for no reason (too much chemical enhancement maybe makes me this paranoid?). i agree with the comments of global being better. GUTTED i missed the prodigy! anyone see eddie halliwell? did he rock the pants off the place or what?

FIRE IT UP!

Compared with last year it was absolutely rubbish. really disorganised. we ended up getting there in the back of a transit van with 14 other people at £10 per head, but it got us there a lot faster and probably in more comfort than those shuttle buses. site was shite, always on a slope, which really messed with my already messed up head. Generally too small and although it seemd everyone was happy and friendly when it was light, after sundown and it got dark, people became quite aggressive and unfriendly. Went with a good group of mates who have all been before, and we all said the same thing. ABSOLUTELY W**K!!! never again.

where has the love gone???

whilst we were waiting on the bus, seeing 5 lads kicking fuck out of two younger lads over the other side, we nashed over to give them a hand but they had ran by then. seen a lot of growlers everwhere, not just ecto faces but pure scowling - lots of casualties to much ket everywhere, dunno how people could cope with the lumpy grass.

dont think i'll go back, met some nice people mainly from wales and ireland

oh and was sitting on the grass and some phantom spilled tea over me and didnt even say sorry. i told him that the next time, i dont take milk....cunt.
