Loved Pendulum, Chic and the whole of Sunday night in the big tent, Tiesto was excellent, but hell....what a nasty corporate event.

It seems that Creamfields was about extracting as much cash as possible and offering the worst possible experience for the visitors.
On the way in... 3 hours to get through the search barrier into the campsite.
Security didn't know what they were doing, the stewards were unhelpful and surly.
Overall the search thing was way over to top. I saw some young girls being violently pushed into the fence and searched - ok, I understand the need to scare the dealers, but a bit too heavy handed?

Inside the camp site it was the usual s**t in a tray food merchants, not like The Big Chill, Womad or even Glastonbury.
Admittedly the quality of acts was very good and the Cream tent was really well done, but seriously, Creamfields promoters, you need to think about the overall experience. Would a shower block have been too much trouble for £115 a head??? Oh, and if you are stopping people getting back to their cars, maybe a better choice of outside catering too? The noodle bar in the main arena was the worst food I have had since I was at school.

You could take your own booze ???

Yes, and i did, but half of my mates didnt think to take any thinking they could buy some once in. which meant that the few of us that did take booze ended up sharing it out and therefore running out on sunday night. To be fair, it wasnt till this point that we started wishing it had a bar!! But honestly, a bar wouldnt hurt would it? Its not the end of the world, but it would of come in handy.

was going to ask how rowdy the campsite was?

was there a lot of d*cks? and did anyone sneak any sound systems in?

There were a few dicks after a few shandy's, but nothing to worry about, we never got any bother, or heard of any bother to anyone else. Overall, i thought the atmosphere in the campsite was quite good, lots of cheering etc, and having a good crack with the people in the surrounding tents.

I did hear some small sound sytems, i know someone had one set up towards the toilets, but nothing that kept me awake at night. I was a bit twisted, so cant say i noticed on the night tbh.

I thought creamfields was fantastic this year, everything was brilliant and having it over 2 days was amazing. The only thing that really ruined my weekend was the queueing. We queued for 2 and a half hours to get into the campsite and then had to walk miles round the outside of the arena to get to the entrance and then had to queue again. It really put a downer on the start of creamfields. Please get this sorted out for next year, i appreciate its a lot of work getting all the thousands of campers through security but this was ridiculous!!!!
