true but when there was a good club there which put on big names plus 1 lisa lashes mikki fin nicky black market no one turned up so im afraid salisbury is responsible for its own fete its become even more like the chapple now that the management has changed the likes of those big names above will never be seen in salisbury again

Well i remember when plus 1 played at tremor, which was a few years ago, (at the same venue, just a different name), it was booming..

I knew the people who ran tremor nightclub and dj'd a few times too and i went to quite a few of the events there and most where pretty booming..

It's because a whole generation has lost out, the people who love raving, most have moved away from this shit-hole, because they got fed up of living somewhere where the nightlife sucks balls.

If the chapel had acted properly the day they started off, doing proper promotions, getting proper well known dj's in all the time, this might not of happened, but they only care about the piss-heads and piss-heads music and always have.

Therefore there is a whole generation of people out there that don't have a clue about the proper scene and think the chapel and its events are what clubbing is all about, when it isn't.

This is why you get decent events half empty and the chapel full to the brim, it's only Salisbury people that go there, you wouldn't get ravers travelling there just to see the same dj's playing the same music every sodding week..

id agree with that we tried to get different promotions in every week at tremor after that closed i even put together a proposal for the then owners of the chaple which they declined the same was offered to the new owners of quatro/warehouse but again declined on the basis that they did not want to outsource or spend money on acts instead they would prefer to go with a cheese music policy his words not mine
still perfect the scratching chris and u will be able to move out of salisbury on the profits lol

Yeah it's what i love doing, even though all my latest demos i have not done any scratching on, just so i could work on the mixes and then if I'm to get booked, it will be a nice surprise to do some kick arse scratching.

Also because i have always called myself a scratch dj, got bookings but had to work with piss poor equipment, with crossfaders as long as my arm, I've ended up leaving the place feeling like i could of done a lot better.

The setup at tremor used to be perfect, as you would of remembered hearing me do my thing and others, Basically i wont have to worrie about having to live up to my name as a scratch dj if i just do it now n' then and it also seems to sound better when i do do it now, maybe because i don't do it as much now, so i guess i enjoy it more.
