TECH-NOIR CLOSING PARTY FEAT LUKE DZIERZEK (RENAISSANCE / FLING / SILVER PLANET)

Luke Dzierzek is a name that has made a massive impact on electronic music in the past eighteen months. With huge basslines, groovy as hell rhythms, massive stabs and admirers including the likes of Sasha, James Zabiela, John Digweed, Nic Fanciulli and Tom Middleton it's no wonder why. The release of his forward thinking productions have gained many fans the world over and resulted in Dzierzek being recognised as one of the planet's finest up-and-coming talents. 'One Day' and 'Echo' received acclaim from both clubbers and journalists alike, with the EP staying in the Buzz Chart for two weeks and being aired three times on Pete Tong's Essential Selection Show and being hammered by everyone from Tiga to Paul Van Dyk.

This was followed by 'Timeless' which after its release in October was at number 1 on DJ downloads Top 10 chart for four weeks and was eventually the websites 2nd most downloaded track of 2005.

Fast forward to 2006 and it would have been easy for Luke to have taken his foot off the pedal however he has been quick to follow up such efforts with yet more amazing productions. His remixes of artists like Minilogue, Suicide Sports Club, Spencer Parker & Chris Lake have been massive in clubland being included on countless compilations all over the globe. Luke also hit another astounding landmark soon after by becoming the only artist ever to have 5 tracks in to the dj download top 10 at the same time!

In June of 2006 he also released 'The Randoms & Wrongens' EP co-produced with fellow rising star Nick Liousias. The EP has received major DJ support, went straight to number 1 in dj download for 3 weeks and was licensed along with 'Echo' to Dave Seaman's 2006 Renaissance compilation and was the biggest selling releases on Silver Planet last year.

Luke is now looking to spread his wings by causing as much devastation behind the decks as in the studio. His ability to read the crowd and rock the clubs have gained him huge respect all over the world. Gigs have come in thick and fast with Dzierzek showcasing his awesome sound at The Level Lounge in Rio de Janeiro and Kraemer in Belo Horizonte (both in Brazil), The Global Club in Lithuania, The Ambassada Club in Ljublijana, Slovenia where he headlined with Eric Prydz infront of 2000 people, Fast Forward in Croatia to over 3000 people, Till 7am in Warsaw Poland, Culture Box in Copenhagen, Spray Club in Pristina-Kosovo, Motion in Northampton, ClubClass in Maidstone, alongside Sander Klienenberg, James Zabiela & Nic Fanciulli, Bedrock at Turnmills in London, The Mint Club in Leeds, Godskitchen & Ultra+ in Birmingham, Renaissance @ The Cross with James Zabiela, Ministry Of Sound Main Room in London and Singapore, Platform 12 at the Key, as well as forthcoming gigs in Asia, South America, Europe and many more far flung places!

Now in Luke is profile is now set to explode even more with the launch of his own label and club night ‘FLING’ which he has set up with best friend Nick Liousias (Formerly of Silver Planet & Cr2 Records). The label will launch in June with a 4 track EP from Luke that shows a progression and maturity beyond his years, encompassing driving house techno, minimal and electonic influences, and has gained major support from the likes of Pete Tong (Played on Radio1), Sasha, John Digweed, James Zabilea, Sander Klienenberg, Lee Burridge, Nic Fanciulli, James Lavelle, Steve Lawler and many more. The label will also give Luke the opportunity to showcase talent from around the world which has previously not been given the chance to shine. The FLING club nights that Luke is running with Liousias will also launch in June 2007 with djs confirmed like Lee Burridge & Jimpster for the launch night, and you know that things are very much on the up for 22 year old. The parties are set to be some of the hottest tickets in the South East if not whole of the UK!

Add to that the fact that Luke has just finished his second solo single for Silver Planet set for release in September, and If that wasn’t enough Luke has just remixed what looks set to be one of the talked about tunes of 2007 Marcella’s ‘Stabbing Sally’ for one of the worlds biggest dance labels Renaissance.
