This is a daytime event (e.g. starts late morning or early afternoon - see below for times).

THIS IS the third ever Jonesfest event to be held in shropshire, uk. and promises to be bigger, messier and more diverse than previous years....

With a change of venue, more bands, more tents and workshops as well as much larger camping grounds, a full capacity of one thousand festival merry makers, families and farmers should easily be reached. (please note that there probably wont be any on the door sales....)
(below is list of confirmed acts)

STAGE ONE-'UNPLUGGED'
HEIDI BROWNE,
TOBY CARTER
MARTIN TEMPLETON
RICH T

STAGE TWO 'ELECTRIFIED'
DEAD LETTER OFFICE
WEESLE DIESEL
GUNS FOR GIRLS
PRE SLEEP MONOLOGUE
THE EPIC
THE WORDS
THE DEEP KICKS

STAGE THREE - DANCING TIME!

"A Marquee of Funk"

Warming up your dancing feet will be Dj's Didi Funk & Dave Ocean.

Then local heros 2 Kilos of Funk take over to host the dance arena..

2Kilos of Funk is Shrewsbury’s self proclaimed “Freshest, Funkiest Party”.
With DJ’s playing a heady mix of Funk, Soul, Beats, Boogie and Disco, the emphasis is purely on fun.
Entertaining the midlands and beyond for the past five years, we’ve welcomed guests as diverse as 1987 world DMC champ Chad Jackson to breaks big man Cut La Roc (Rocstar).
Referred to as “One of the best things about Shrewsbury” only last year by the Guardian newspaper it’s clear we know how to rock a party. Expect to see 2Kilos residents with some special guests thrown in for good measure, it’s a festival! Good times music for good times people, come and dance.

2kilos.co.uk check their mixes for a flavour of what to expect.
