Rapidly developing into one of the most influential young talents in the UK tech house scene, Dave Robertson continues to open his sound to new ears across the planet as a result of his impeccable efforts both on the dancefloor and in the studio. Dave’s production portfolio continues to grow like wildfire, helping him to receive the recognition he richly deserves as one of the finest exponents of bass driven, mind bending dance music.

Dave's first signed record came in 2004 with his tracks 'Can It Happen' and 'Dr Robotnik' on the Paul Sidoli run 'Hearing Aid' records. The tracks caused a monumental stir in the house scene receiving plays from Sasha, Nick Warren and Lee Burridge. Dave soon followed this up with 'For Her Addiction EP', gaining major support from James Zabiela, Pete Tong and Sander Klienenberg, who featured the productions on his Essential mix from Miami in 2004. A collaboration with local DJ and producer PJ Davy followed these two successful releases. Grim and Manky '3 weeks on the trot' was signed to Evasive and was remixed by Nathan Coles, whilst Dave's track 'Slang for Funky' was licensed to Sound in Motion mixed by James Zabiela. This unique mix of house and breaks went on to sell thousands worldwide.

2006 has been Dave’s most successful year to date. ‘1 Dunk Wonder’, which following an Electric Press rerub and support from Satoshi Tommie and Paolo Mojo, reached number 1 in the DJ download chart and number 2 in the Beatport house chart, whilst his numerous collaborations have also enjoyed similar success. This includes ‘Pressure Cooker’ and ‘Got The Bug’ made with Mike Healey on Cosmonote, the ‘Mine and His EP’ produced with James Talk on Spoken Recordings, his collaboration with Jamie Mchugh on Saved called ‘Glitch’ and his efforts alongside Jon Gurd such as ‘Thai Chilli‘ and ’Camel’ (released on Gurd’s Kill A Watt label) and ‘The Rendition’. ‘The Rendition’ in particular has received major global interest with support from Lee Burridge, Sander Kleinenberg and D.Ramirez, whilst Carl Cox, Steve Lawler and Nic Fanciulli all played Rendition during their Summer Essential Mixes, as well as Pete Tong and Fergie, who have both played it extensively on their Radio 1 shows. Due for release on Cr2 in October 2006, with a monstrous Sebastien Leger remix, ‘The Rendition’ is set to be Dave’s biggest release to date. He will follow up ‘The Rendition’ with his brand new record called ‘Yellow Self’ and his remix of Anil Chawla ‘Purple Fruit’ (on Twisted Frequency).

In addition to his studio work Dave has been busy developing his dynamic live show, which has already been tested out this year at High Tide (Southampton), Punchfunk (Portsmouth) alongside Slam, for Futurism at Turnmills (London) and at ClubClass at The Ministry Of Sound (London) causing pandemonium along the way. Such mindblowing perfomances resulted in Dave being awarded with a set on Fergie’s Radio1 show in July. In the tail end of 2006 and 2007 Dave looks set to take his live show on a full world tour for the very first time incorporating South America, Asia, Australia and Europe.
