Bambuubar NYE 2006/07

This was my 4th NYE @ Bambuubar..

Last year was a dissapointment. But i must say, it was much better & less of a dissapointment than this year.
This year there were even less people. VIP holders were promised a magician, goodie bags etc. There was nothing there!
At 1 point it was hard to find someone to get served a drink up there. Not knocking the staff, they work hard there! & are always pleasant & very efficient! But it was so dead up there that they must have given up on it too, unfortunate for the one's that remained..
The free champagne on entry was very nice & as usual the staff were friendly & helpful. But thats all there was.
It didnt live up to the hype & advertisements.
The DJ line up was great & the music was good. But all the hype about "We have sold more tickets than last year already" etc, i totally understand & respect that being a promoting ploy to draw in customers (i certainly fell for it).
It was over half full for about 45mins or so, before alot of people had enough & went round the corner to Diva.

I just felt totally mislead about the whole night. & on New Years Eve!!

I hope you can take this as positive critism from a regular customer who just expected Bambuu to deliver.. Especially it being New Years Eve. Weekend nights out @ Bambuubar are great! But i certainly wont be there for another NYE.

sounds like i miss a good night then! i like bambo alot but they seriously need to start a fresh, with everything its got to the point were it not the place to be any more.
