Despite the vast increase of competition since the Euro 2004 competition, Hotshots proved to be the prefered destination in the area. With people willing to wait at the entrance than go to another venue. The crowd gave a performance matched only by the recent Bon Jovi concert and showed true spirit of the football crazy nation with all the oooo's and ahhhh's that the match provided. Starting at leisureworld around 8am and getting ready it was more like a quiet sunday morning and acted like a calm before the storm. By 11am we had our first customers willing our shutters open and when we delivered the venue steadily increased in numbers untill we could hold no more.
The atmosphere was electric and with the goal of the match all rejoiced together. With the fouls and free kicks all showed their opinion as a universal collective and in all was a great event to work and be a part off. I cant thank the Hotshots and Ikon staff who took part and without them this day wouldnt of happened. I think I would of just about recovered by the time the Trinidad & Tobago game but already looking forward to taking part and seeing England progress through the world cup!!!
