After spending time in the mid to late nineties as the lead singer of Jazz Funk band Obsession Abigail Bailey turned her focus into the Dance Music Industry. Hooking up with Manchester’s own DJ/Producers Jason Herd and John Fitz they released five collaborations in 2004 alone helping her climb the ladder and establish herself among the cream of female house music vocalists. Her voice has been described as angelic yet soulful with a twist of diva and this was reflected in her huge UK Top 20 chart smash “Just Can’t Get Enough”. It was soon signed up by Subliminal records and gained radio play on Stations all over the world including UK stations Galaxy FM network, BBC Radio One, Capital radio and many more! Other tracks include 2006 smash MYNC project "Something on your mind" which was signed to top house label Cr2. “Something on your mind” was heavily played across Ibiza especially the Switch remix which followed. As a musician and producer Abigail has undertaken several writing projects including the writing of the top line for the Chris Lakes smash "Changes” which was made Pete Tong’s essential new tune in June 2007 was released in September 2006 on Apollo and reached number 27 in the UK top 40 and was A-listed on BBC Radio One! Now her sights have been taken to DJing and combining live acapellas with great house music something which she pioneered and launched at the WMC in Miami in 2007. She was then quickly offered a residency at the highly acclaimed Pukka Up night once a month at London's prestigious club Pacha. SohoDisco is all about an amazing club party with only the finest house music. Expect a night packed with funky, soulful, disco house music from Abigail Bailey to get you shakin' on the dance floor from start to finish. ------------------- JunkBox: Filth pres Jackin’ The Box Junior Gee (Filth) Stu Bryan (Indigo) Larry Dempsey (Indigo) ------------------- Doors open from 10 – 4am Dresscode: Stylish & To Impress Tax: £5 - £6 after – Tickets £4 Online Limited exclusive V.I.P. bookings available For more info: w: www.junkclub.com e: info@junkclub.com t: 02380335511
