Saturday 23rd August WHITETRASH ------------------- Mainroom: White Trash featuring Micky Slim Micky Slim (Godskitchen) Luka Pilato (White Trash) Simon Aston (White Trash) White Trash is the number one brand for electro laced house music always providing the best DJ's, Music and clubbers. White Trash twists and turns through the deepest and darkest elements of house right through until 4am! Officially Southampton’s only after hours club night! This week we welcome one of the most charismatic individuals to smash his way onto the house music scene in recent years, Micky Slim! With an outstanding production portfolio that has had a phenomenal success rate of being heard on BBC Radio1 with tracks making it as Pete Tongs essential new tune and with him being acclaimed in Pete Tongs “Fast Trax”. After playing various bars and clubs around the midlands, Micky rented the Canal club in Wolverhampton in April 2005 to host a Tsunami fund raiser. The night proved a monstrous success and repeat bookings at the venue gave Micky the chance to shine alongside the likes of Yousef, Jose Nunez, Richard F and Tom Neville. The wheels however properly turned when Mickys quickly growing fan base came to the attention of Godskitchen promoter Mark Gillespie. Gillespie was quick to install Micky as Godskitchen Electric resident, a very special moment for Micky especially considering he had been a regular at the club from its beginning at the Sanctuary and had attended every one of Godskitchens colossal Global Gathering festivals. Mickys Gods residency has seen him play regularly to a rapturous home crowd alongside the likes of Erick Morillo, Chris Lake, Richard Dinsdale, James Zabiela and Fergie, as well as debut at Global, which he achieved in July. In 2007 his remix of House Of Pains Jump Around was hugely popular and was being heard on dance floors the world over after making it as Essential New Tune on Radio 1 and since then more remix’s have come out of the studio thick and fast including the Micky Slim remix of Heater by Samim which was massive in Ibiza for 2007.
