Mainroom Scott Giles (Pukka Up) Martin Warner (SohoDisco) Aran The Pope (Crank, Live Percussion) Pukka Up is all about sophisticated, stylish and glamorous club nights. Their aim is to challenge the art of clubbing, where beautifully abstract entertainers meet amazing sensuous artwork. Where sumptuous décor creates an artistic feel for every night; and where new styles of house bring the ‘Art Back to House Music’. The party began life in 2003, by throwing what became, infamous boat parties along London’s main artery; The Thames. After a small residency at Turnmills it exploded onto countless other dance floors, including internationally renowned venues, such as Pacha and The Cross where they have held residencies (Sadly no longer the Cross). The impact created by the success soon made them one of the most talked about events in the clubbing calendar. Within months it was featured on Radio One's 'House Rules', Vibe FM and regularly graced the pages of Mixmag, DJ Magazine, IDJ, M8 and Notion. After the initial UK success the team decided to hit Ibiza putting on a series of Sunset Boat Parties. These quickly became a favourite among the press, customers and other promoters and placed Pukka Up on the international clubbing map. This week they bring us their excellent resident Scott Giles who always provides the most perfect house music all night long. Scott has been Djing for over 10 years, and is the main resident for Pukka Up both UK and abroad. He has been instrumental in defining Pukka Up's music, jackin house with an underlining energy. Never afraid to innovate, Scott plays to the crowd, what ever is going off!
