As with all DJ/remix powerhouses, the Streetlife DJs' (aka Stewart Rowell and Louis Gaston) career is steeped in critical acclaim, with nearly 30 years experience between them behind the decks and in the studio.
From the mid Eighties, the two have honed their skills soaking up genres and influences from early Hip-Hop, to Electro and Funk, from the eventual birth of Acid House - making the 2 remix kings from London, hailed by all as the UK’s answer to '2manyDJs', proven teachers of Musicology, with their god-like technical abilities, matched only by their vastly eclectic taste - universally agreed with by Music Press and party-goers alike.
The rules are there are no rules and genre holds no bound. Streetlife DJs simultaneously evoke your inner child and your headstrong adult sides as they churn out their legendary Mash up and Bootleg sets, taking you on a sonic journey through a history in music, stylistically with the well known modern tracks of today.
With a CV as long as any Superstar DJ's, the Streetlife really know how to seriously rock a crowd. From the shores of Ibiza - in Space and Pacha, Limelight in NYC, the world famous Liquid Room in Tokyo, to Sydney and London's 'Home' - they return to the South Coast with a whole record bag of world experience, bursting at the seams ready to break apart the Junk dance floor.
