Its what clubbers from the south have been waiting for since the close of the iconic Ikon and Diva brand of luminar leisure closed, the opening of Oceana! Set to be one of the biggest clubbing events so far this year, the opening will see access for the first time to the public to Icehouse and New York Disco nightclubs and also the spectacular bar quarter featuring themed bars based around iconic parts of the world, such as Milan Oceana’s main hub area has a unique layout and individual design. The open courtyard area will create a stunning ‘Al Fresco’ style café experience. Bespoke outdoor furniture, projected cloud effect and interchangeable coloured lighting options will give the ultimate feeling of a night out beneath the stars. This hub links to five themed bars (Villa Tahiti, Monte Carlo, Louisiana, Parisan Boudoir and Milan), two nightclubs (The Reykjavik Icehouse and New York Disco) and sophisticated private-hire VIP suites. All rooms are styled to reflect iconic cities from around the world that combine to offer the largest club capacity in the country. The Reykjavik Icehouse and New York Disco will make up the two main nightclubs. The Icehouse offers a 360 video projection, ‘mesmerising’ chandeliers, cool pure white contemporary finish and ground- breaking technology to deliver a sublime music and video experience. New York Disco features original New York Disco memorabilia acquired from across the globe and will boast Europe’s largest illuminated ‘Saturday night fever’ dance floor. All the retro designs have been carefully recreated and fashioned down to the mirrored ceiling and Tivoli neon infinity mirrors. This room will be a definite favourite for the older clientele who will be able to flow freely from room to room. The five themed bars will all have a different look and feel about them with various music policies. Villa Tahiti bar will take you far away to the South Seas with the atmosphere of a luxury holiday island and crashing waves. A classic Art Deco bar, Monte Carlo is inspired by the glitz and glamour of the exclusive South of France. Louisiana marks a new introduction to the brand promising to capture the very essence of this lively American state. An intimate, plush feel will run through the Parisan Boudoir. Flock wallpaper, velvet drapes and Art Nouveau figurines will add to the unique central seating which has been designed to resemble a four poster bed. Milan, which is renowned as one of the worlds capitals of design and fashion will look, sharp, chic with a blend modern furnishing, wooden flooring and bare brick walls. Do NOT miss this!
