On 12th April Orange Rooms will be celebrating it's FIFTH, yes FIFTH birthday. How time flies when you're having fun.
In order to celebrate a half-decade of eating, drinking, grooving and lounging, we have decided to temporarily import a little bit of Vegas into Orange Rooms, by having a big band swing night (not the car keys in the punch bowl kind of swing, you dirty beggar)- so if you drink enough Martinis and sort of narrow your eyes a bit, it might actually be possible to convince yourself that you are partying hearty with Sinatra, Deano, Sammy Davis Jnr. et al, but without all the dodgy mafia stuff and the sexually dysfunctional alcoholics (plus or FISH is stepping on stage to perform a few numbers too)
On top of all that, we've also invited Eclectic Method DJs (dubbed 'the future of music entertainment' and described by Time Out as '2manyDjs but with music videos'), and there will be a jaw-dropping array of bootlegs and video mixing. Neil Homer, who has returned to the fold after a short spell in exile next door at Mono, and who is standing over your correspondent as I write this, brandishing a cat o'nine tails, has specifically asked me to emphasise that the last four birthdays have 'gone off', and I'm assuming he doesn't mean 'gone off' in the same sense as the bit of brie in my fridge.
The event will be include Red Bull and champagne toast (Shambulls),
FREE Sabai on entry and there will be all kinds of
-giveaways, freebies, raffles
(including I-pod, VIP night out at Orange Rooms, including LIMO service and a £100 free bar tab/reserved table and champagne reception on the opening night of new OR, £50 Five O store voucher. to name a few), so this one is not to be missed.
Of course this also means that our bosom buddies next door at Mono are three, the entertainments on the evening will be brought to you by Kate Lawler (Big Brother winner and acclaimed electro DJ at Secret Sundays) and very good friend Mr James Zabiela who needs no introduction.
Dont Forget To Also Visit MONO whose 3rd Birthday as well.
