As you are probably all aware, a fire in the neighbouring Co-Op store has left us unable to open the Rhino Club following significant damage to the upstairs dance floor.
The good news is, we’ve just been given the green light to unlock the basement and we will now be operating this Thursday through Saturday as normal.
In the meantime, the upper floor will be pieced back together with upgrades to the sound system, air conditioning, lighting, décor and of course the dance floor! It is envisaged that we will be re-opening the space to the public in January 2007. James Lavelle, Fergie and a bucket load more talent have been rescheduled to coincide with this time frame.
As a result of the upper floor of the Rhino Club becoming suddenly un-operational, High Tide will now be performing at a secret location in Bedford Place, but will be included in the one ticket deal.
Now four venues this New Years Eve!
Secret Venue To Be Announced on New Years Eve! (Within a minute’s walking distance from Mono, Orange Rooms and Rhino Club) - 10pm – very late
Main Room
Think the acid house parties of the late eighties! With a capacity on one level of around 400 people, this exciting new addition will be perfect for getting down warehouse style! The pumping High Tide sound system (as used on their infamous boat parties) is being installed specially for this event, as well as video projections and full stage production. Expect their signature electronic house music with one of the most ‘up for it’ crowd’s in the country until the early hours. THIS VENUE WILL ROCK!

The Rhino Club – 9.00pm – 5am
Due to the extensive fire damage, the upper floor of the Rhino Club will remain closed this New Years Eve. This legendary dance floor will be back in January 2007, with more sound, more air-conditioning and plenty of surprises!
The Basement
Back where they belong, the South coast legends demonstrate the art of cutting up R&B, soul and funk to bring in the New Year. If you are a regular on Saturday evenings, you know the deal – get there early to avoid the roadblock!

Available up in our 3rd level lounge we cordially invited you to join our in house ‘just-for-fun’ charity casino. It’s a cheeky bit of fun for a good cause, think more Peter Sellers than Daniel Craig. Bond girl and spoof spy wear is encouraged! Two fully trained croupiers will host a table of Roulette and a table of Texas hold ‘em each.
