THE 'RUNAGROUND' AFTER PARTY BANK HOLIDAY SUNDAY 4TH MAY 2008 @ ORANGE ROOMS & MONO 7.00PM – 1.00AM The first of our May evening sessions boasts a seriously impressive line up, with the perfect mix of fresh talent and scene legends. We split the party as ever across neighbouring Mono Bar and Orange Rooms, then it’s down to you to choose between today’s underground sound and the party classics of yesteryear. Orange Rooms is all about the classics, with a guest who’s done it all. Super club residencies, Ministry of Sound albums; he’s even been behind a number one hit - remember Gala’s “Freed from Desire”? Allister Whitehead will be dropping in to give us his take on house anthems, and no doubt playing some favourites from the early days of Fantazia and Cream. Allister joins residents Dan Reid and Jason Bagley to complete the line up for this instalment of High Tide Classics. Mono is host to ALiVE, where resident Tom Budden (celebrating the launch of his new label, ALiVE Recordings) is joined by Kos, and by the one and only James Zabiela. Kos has been hotly tipped by both James and One+One partner, Nic Fanciulli, as the one to watch in 2008. He toured with the pair last year, and at this year’s Miami WMC was invited to warm up for legendary dj duo, Sasha and John Digweed. With a recent artist album under his belt too, Kos is showing the world he’s got the skills both in the booth and in the studio. James Zabiela needs no introduction. All we need say is that it’s been a while since he last appeared at ALiVE, so let’s welcome him back by havin’ it on that dance floor and showing some love for Southampton’s finest! Same rules as always apply. High Tide ticket holders get in for free and its 3 squid for everyone else. A wrist band gets you between venues. You know there will be a queue if you turn up late, so don’t risk it! Until then, stay classy High Tiders….
