Yes, next Saturday guys. For many a year people have complained that there are not enough proper club nights with guest dj's in Southamton on a Saturday night. So we've decided to change that... For the first time at Release we are pleased to introduce King Unique to the Rhino decks.

The evolution of Southampton's longest running club night continues....

Release fire up a new regular Saturday session with boat party purveyors, High Tide. With a later license and guaranteed headline act or two, you'll need to arrive early for these shows. Saturday 7th October sees KING UNIQUE (aka Matthew Roberts and Matt Thomas) grace the Rhino decks.
Over the last five years their records, remixes and re-edits have hit home with house-heads, nu-ravers and electro-rockers alike, being championed by everyone from Sasha to Soulwax, Danny Howells to Tiesto, and Pete Tong to Zane Lowe. Their music has turned up everywhere from Hollywood soundtracks to mobile ring tones, not to mention countless compilations and mix albums. 2006 has seen them starting their own residency, "Curfew Time" at London's Turnmills, bringin Loud Electronic Dirt to the capital.

Yep, I agree Tom, one of the best nights in there for a long time....they all have been good recently but Sat night just gone was great!!!

Dan, any idea when Hasset and Peirce might be gracing the decks again?? I missed their debut set in Rhino.

Hasset and Pierce will be playing soon, think the line ups for the next couple of months will be sorted out after this weekend.
